Where can I find free stock music downloads?

January 13th, 2009

I"m looking for quirky stock music to put in a commercial that I'mediting for a client, but I dont have a big library of cart CDs or any subscriptions to a stock music place. Where can I find some good, free music that I could use?

Try this, I used it for my Bring Your Buddy podcast. It's not free but it's so cheap I didn't worry about it. Otherwise do a search for podsafe music

What's a good place to find free, modern piano music??

January 12th, 2009

I am a high intermediate piano player and I want some modern challenging music. Does anyone know where I can find some sheet music online for free??

Dont listen to chinese cowboy. Not everyone has the money to buy books of popular music which is why there are a selection of free songs and pieces for the piano on 8notes.com There are challenging pieces too I think I even saw Hungarian rhapsody #2 for free on that site.
I feel your pain though it is way tough to find any free sheet music even for the pieces which are public domain!

How do I find nirvana cello sheet music?

January 11th, 2009

I cant find and sheet music for nirvana, and i know there is a cello in many of nirvana's songs.

You can't. There is not a Cello publication for Nirvana. However, because Bass Guitar is a C instrument like the Cello, a Bass Guitar book should serve the same purpose.

There are some Nirvana Bass books below, that you might find helpful.

Does anyone know where I can find a soundtrack to music played during the runway shows for Louis Vuitton?

January 8th, 2009

The women's Spring/Summer 2006 show is the main music im looking for. Also, just a place to find music from the shows of many designers would be nice too!

I'm afraid I won't be of much help but I also share your interest!

Besides the freaky orgasm sounds they play at the beginning, right when Trish Goff walks in, I thought that the music was really fun! I liked the part where that little girl voice goes "Oh dear, I almost forgot to say, That when I'm happy, I sneeze all day!" If anyone knows who DJ'd the show, then you might find out through that.

I also loved the FW06 show, with the opening of a rock version of "Glamorous Life". Don't know who sung it, but I think it's originally by Sheila E.

Maybe the best way to know is to find out who DJ'd the show.

Good luck!

UPDATE:
Okay, I just found out that this is the play list for Louis Vuitton SS06:

I'm Coming Out - Diana Ross • Hot In Herre - Nelly • Mr. Postman - The Marvelettes • Theme Song from Spongebob Squarepants • R.E.S.P.E.C.T - Aretha Franklin • Wanna Be Startin' Something - Michael Jackson

Where online can I find math times tables with music?

January 5th, 2009

I need to find a good site where I can either download for free or pay for times tables set to music; preferably children's songs or rock and roll. All I have been able to find so far are ones set to country music which we are not a fan of. Thanks.

A few sites you might try are:

http://www.googolpower.com
http://www.songsforteaching.com/mathsongs.htm

Hope this helps.
